What’s the role?
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing opportunities within their customer portfolio (Australian Energy Market, Commercial, Government & Mining). This role involves managing customer relationships, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with Blue Crystal Solutions service offerings.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales/customer success, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of ICT Managed Services.
What will you do?
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts to maximise customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to your clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and escalation.
- Upsell and cross-sell additional services by identifying opportunities to expand relationships.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure service quality and identify potential improvements.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure seamless delivery and invoicing of services.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system.
Please note – quarterly (at a minimum) interstate travel is a requirement for this role.
Who Are You
- Minimum 5 years sales or customer success experience within the managed services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets (sales &/or customer satisfaction)
- High emotional intelligence – you have genuine empathy for others and maximize your impact through understanding.
- Uses good judgment – especially when tasked with difficult decisions. You are a person who exudes good judgment in decision making.
- Accountable – you are honest, transparent, and have authentic communication with your customers and colleagues
- A team player – work towards the collective vision and play your part in building a fantastic team atmosphere.
- Strong understanding of the Australian Energy Market (advantageous)
