The celebration took place at our headquarters in South Australia, with members of the BCS team, clients, and suppliers in attendance. Our Managing Director, Vito Rinaldi, kicked off the evening with a heartfelt speech, reflecting on our company’s journey and expressing gratitude to everyone who had contributed to making it all possible.
“Wow, 20 years of BCS, I can’t fathom it. It’s taken every twist, turn, and every staff member, client, and partner to turn it into what it is today. What we’ve done and what we’re doing for our customers is truly amazing. I have never been more proud of my team. I know I’ve got a team of exceptional people who love what they do, are awesome at it, and our customers know it, too.”

Looking back on our history, Vito emphasised the hard work and dedication of the BCS team. “Twenty years ago, I started Blue Crystal Solutions after seeing a gap in the market for exceptional database management services. Beginning in my living room in Port Adelaide and with my then-business partner Catherine Ayliffe—who is here today—we couldn’t have imagined where we would be now.
What do you say at a 20th birthday party? Two decades in business is amazing. It really does feel great to be 20 again. Who would have thought 20 years ago that we would become a trusted IT partner for our clients here tonight, and even those who couldn’t be here?
Over the years, we have celebrated numerous milestones, delivered transformational client projects that are industry-recognised, and kept up with challenges that come with an ever-changing industry, all whilst fostering local talent. I am so grateful to you all: customers, partners, and employees who have made our 20-year commitment to delivering the best IT services a reality.
